on 20th May 2026, Government Degree College Women Anantnag conducted an Anti-Drug Rally under the patronage of worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Khalida Hassan. At the outset of the programme, the Principal spoke about the ill effects of drug abuse and emphasized the responsibilities of students and society in creating a drug-free environment. The rally commenced from the College Main Gate and proceeded via KP Road towards Anchidora Point. The participants later returned and moved towards Iqbal Market before reaching the College Back Side Gate. During the rally, the students raised anti-drug slogans and carried placards to spread awareness among the public regarding the harmful effects of drug addiction.
