the Commemoration of 150 Years of the National Song “Vande Mataram” A special function was organized today in the College Auditorium at 09:50 AM to commemorate 150 years of the National Song “Vande Mataram.” The event was attended by all staff members and students of the college. The highlight of the programme was the live telecast of the national event from New Delhi, where Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the year-long celebration of the historic song. On this occasion, the Prime Minister hailed “Vande Mataram” as a mantra of energy, dream, and devotion to Mother India. He also released a Commemorative Stamp and Coin to mark the completion of 150 glorious years of the song that continues to inspire patriotism and unity among Indians. All present watched the live broadcast with great enthusiasm and reverence. The message of love, sacrifice, and service to the nation deeply resonated with everyone. The function concluded with a collective rendition of “Vande Mataram” by the staff and students, filling the hall with a sense of pride and nationalism. The programme was a fitting tribute to the immortal song that has been a source of inspiration in India’s freedom struggle and remains a symbol of our national identity even today.
