Report on Yoga Program under NMBA A Yoga Program under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) was successfully organized on 16th April 2026 by the Sports Department of the college in collaboration with the College Wellbeing and AntiSubstance Cell (CWASC). The program was conducted under the esteemed patronage of the worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Khalida Hassan. At the outset, the Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness and mental well-being. She emphasized that yoga plays a vital role in stress reduction, emotional stability, and building a disciplined lifestyle among students. She also underlined the importance of such initiatives under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, which aims to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a drug-free society. Prof. Shamsul Din Sheikh, Nodal Officer NMBA, also spoke on the occasion. He elaborated on the preventive role of yoga in combating stress, anxiety, and negative influences that often lead to substance use. He encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily routine as a means to achieve self-control, clarity of mind, and a healthy lifestyle
