Report on Sensitization Program on Anti-Smoking Awareness A sensitization program on anti-smoking awareness was organized on 11th April 2026 by the College Wellbeing and Anti-Substance Cell (CWASC), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Khalida Hassan, Principal of the college. The initiative aimed to educate and sensitize shopkeepers operating in and around the college vicinity regarding the harmful effects of smoking and the legal restrictions on the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products, especially near educational institutions. A group of enthusiastic students, under the supervision of faculty members, actively participated in the program. The students visited various shops located within and around a radius of approximately 100 meters from the college. They interacted with shopkeepers and conveyed important messages related to the health hazards of smoking, passive smoking, and the broader social impact of tobacco consumption.
