Event Details

As part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations and in alignment with the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Eco Club in collaboration with Cultural Activities Committee and NSS Units of Govt. Degree College for Women, Anantnag organized a Cleanliness Drive on 7th August 2025 within the college campus. The cleanliness drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, Eco Club members, faculty, and non-teaching staff. The prime objective was to instil and inculcate a sense of responsibility and duty among participants towards maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings and contributing to the vision of a Clean and Green India. The activity strengthens the spirit of community service among participants sensitize them about their role in sustaining the cleanliness and environmental health of public spaces especially educational institutes. The event was conducted under the overall supervision of worthy principal Prof. (Dr.) Masood Ahmad Malik
